Barbara Elaine Hutcheson, age 80, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital.
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 @ Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Spruce Pine. The funeral will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, @ Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Norton, and Bro. John Stancil officiating the service. The burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce Pine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hutcheson, mother, Mae Agnes Stancil Hargett, father, D.J. “Red” Mashburn, grandparent, Lizzie Mae and Daniel Stancil; sisters, Rhonda Rogers, Sharon Barton, and brother, David Mashburn.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Angela Uptain (Thelon), grandson, Daniel Uptain, granddaughter, Michelle Young, brother, Tommy Mashurn (Cindy), and host of nieces and nephews.
