Ajah Danielle Sawyer, age 25 of Tupelo, Mississippi, formerly of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
She was born January 14, 2000, to Terrell Sawyer and Misty Spinks. Ajah was outgoing and always wanted to help others. She spoke her mind, was always smiling, and was always late. Ajah was very artistic and loved tennis. She was highly passionate about her job at Applebees and Longhorn Steakhouse in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Visitation will be Sunday October 19, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Haleyville. Brother Tim Box will officiate.
Ajah is survived by her fur babies, Charlie and Jack; parents, Misty Spinks and Terrell Sawyer; grandparents, Cindy Miller, Steve Hughes, and Gary Sawyer; uncles, Jeremy (Amy) Hughes, Jeremy Sawyer, and David Sawyer; great aunt, Betty Dill; and a host of cousins, special friends, and work family.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Gail Sawyer.
