Adra Christine Marbutt of Oxford, Michigan formerly of Phil Campbell, Alabama; born July 11, 1930 to John and Lona Howard; passed away on April 27, 2026 at the age of 95.
Preceded in death by her husband John Marbutt, her grandson John K. Marbutt and her parents, John Howard and Lona Hodges.
Mother of Reeta Smith, Keith (Uni) Marbutt, Michael Marbutt and Angela (Randy) Harrison.
Also survived by her Grandchildren: Scott Smith, Michelle (Dave) Kurtz, Jenny C. Marbutt, Ashlee (Justin) Bean, Aimee (Matt) Kendall; Great Grandchildren: Sonnie(Nancy) Allen, Steve Allen , Riley Patton, Lanie Patton, Isabella Bean, Camryn Bean, and Ayvah Harrison; one Great-Great Grandchild, Johnathan Gritzinger.
Sister of Ronald (Geraldine) Howard, the late Frances Frederick, the late Richard (Sandra) Howard.
Adra Christine was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Monday May 4, 2026 from 5:00PM – 8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will be Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 2:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, AL., (she will lie in state from 12:00NOON – 2:00PM), with Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery.
